Touchscreens are a type of input device that allow users to interact with electronic devices by physically touching the screen.
Two most common designs are:
Capacitive - detects an electrical charge through the capacitance, which is the ability of an object to store an electrical charge (stylus pen / finger tip)
Resistive - the point of contact is determined by measuring the change in the electrical resistance at that location (gram force).
Yes. With UV and/or reflective films a touchscreen can be used outside under direct sunlight.
We do not manufacture LCDs, but we have the ability to source and assemble the LCD to the touchscreen as a value added service.
